This year, we’re talking about the importance of embracing time, love and unity. In the spirit of giving, we worked on a unique project with Natasha Jiwa of Is Yours to create gift packaging that celebrates the feeling of togetherness we all share during gift giving.
Natasha is a vancouver-born, brooklyn-based artist. After graduating from parsons, she worked as a designer for several brands in NYC before ultimately deciding to leave the 9-to-5 behind with the creation of Is Yours. Through her artwork, Natasha seeks to celebrate individuality while acknowledging the inherent sameness that unites us. She hopes to promote messages of being gentle, being loving, and being yourself (she’s a softy). Each piece is designed and hand-crafted in her home studio in Williamsburg, where she loves to use mixed mediums to guide her different expressions.
It was such a fun experience collaborating with Natasha on such a special project. Just as her work, she transcends sweet, radiates charm and advocates honest emotion. In each of her creations she embodies a delightful feeling that is soft yet striking and playful yet powerful. We have so much love for this project and we hope you feel it too.
